In 1969, Nell O'Briant Bednarz was guided by her 7th grade art teacher in the basic techniques for seeing with the right brain. One class, 45-minutes of quiet isolation, and the teacher opened a whole new life to her. Since that first leap from stick-figures to nature drawings, Nell Bednarz has studied many topics and techniques in the classroom, in galleries and museums, and with her fellow artists in demos and workshops. She teaches and judges art shows based upon her studies. Today, Nell Bednarz works in oils/acrylics, watercolors/acrylics, scratchboard and other drawings, pastels on paper or panels, photography, assemblage sculpture, and fine art silver-and-stone jewelry, creating beauty to honor God through Christ and to encourage others to seek Him.
